Earlier this year, we ran a story on The Running Stormtrooper, AKA Jez Allinson, who had just completed his final costumed run for charity at Pinewood Studios.
Last night he put on a final hurrah to his Running Stormtrooper project by hosting a charity screening of The Battle of Britain at Pinewood Studios. Jez is in the RAF, and chose this movie due to it being 100 years of the RAF this year, and also 50 years since production began on it at Pinewood Studios.
As we all know, Pinewood Studios is also where Star Wars IX is currently shooting. Having the opportunity to be on site at Pinewood Studios and watching a film in their cinema was fantastic. Jez had pulled out all the stops. The red carpet was rolled out, canapes & drinks were doing the rounds, and the Air Cadet marching band was playing in the corner.
Over the 2 years Jez has been The Running Stormtrooper, he has raised over £35K for Make A Wish & Spread A Smile.
Congratulations Jez on all your accomplishments with The Running Stormtrooper!
