New Star Wars Trilogy Announced

Incredible news, Kathleen Kennedy has hired Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to write and produce a new trilogy of Star Wars movies. These will not replace the already announced Rian Johnson trilogy, they will be added to the growing Star Wars Galaxy at a future date yet to be announced.

“David and Dan are some of the best storytellers working today,” said Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm. “Their command of complex characters, depth of story and richness of mythology will break new ground and boldly push Star Wars in ways I find incredibly exciting.
