Born in 1971, Malvern based artist Marsha Parkins has been a creative force in the sci-fi and fantasy art world since 1987 when she started MP Productions.
The foundation of her career coincided with a move to the United States,where she worked with corporations like Disney, designing Lion King T-Shirts ,as well as Miami Dade police force,The U.S.Navy Seals and book covers, book illustrations in published novels. In addition to this Marsha has turned her hand to a variety of work including the illustration of maps, company logos, album covers,T-shirts and tattoos .
Marsha’s ability to work in a variety of mediums including pen and ink, watercolour, acrylics and oils along with her experience of illustration and printing make her the first choice for many projects.
Marsha’s most recent artwork includes Official Star Wars art for Topps for many sets but also including Mars Attacks, The Walking Dead as well as Marvel premier for Upperdeck and RRParks Cards Mystery Science Theater 3000.fright rags with Dawn of the Dead and House of a Thousand Corpses and more official sketch cards to be announced later. She’s also honoured to have her work included as a base card for Topps latest Star Wars Galaxy series released later in 2018.
Marsha’s studio is based at her home in Malvern UK, where she continues to create commissions and personal projects and writing/illustrating her own children’s books when not producing sketch cards for Star Wars sets.
